Abstract Submission Form

For the first time in over 25 years the Companion Animal Conference will have a contestable abstract stream.

Abstract submissions have now closed and are being reviewed by the New Zealand Companion Animal Council’s Scientific Committee. Authors will be notified via email of the outcome of the review process by 31 May 2018.


A maximum of six authors may be entered. Initials should be capitalised and followed by a full stop and a space. Addresses should at least include city, state (if applicable) and country.

The Abstract Body cannot contain more than 350 words in the main body. References do not contribute to the word count, although citations presented in the text do. Any statistics included must be presented fully (i.e. test statistic, d.f. and P values; e.g. P < 0.05).

We will accept both Oral presentation and a Poster presentations. Please indicate your preference on your abstract submission. Note that some requests for talks may need to be moved to poster presentations.
